What Makes The Nonstick Pan So Special

By Alexander Stone

If like me, when you think of pancakes or omelettes you think of sticking, burnt food, that always seems to get stuck no matter how you cook them. Well really there is no longer any need, technology has allowed us this wonderful invention call non-stick pans.

This has to be a God-sent thing. No more scrubbing, scraping and leaving-it-to-soak when using this kind of pan. It is not new, but its popularity is continuously rising as more people are finding out the benefits of using it. It comes in different sizes and shapes and is very popular in kitchens that turn out eggs into omelettes. Having used these wonderful pans myself, I would never look back. You may be skeptical about judging the no-more-sticking pan but rest assured this is amazing. In fact, it has to be the ultimate item in cooking. I actually enjoy cooking now, unlike before where I always see it as a chore, because I know what the end result will be.

Now I know that it may be difficult to tell just by looking at a pan, whether it is in fact non-stick. There is one way in which these fantastic pans are different, some contain a red spot in the middle of the frying pan, this is what heats up and makes the non-stick, not stick.

Nonstick frying pans and saucepans are quite expensive, especially if you they are Teflon-manufactured. Teflon is the original designer of these special pans. You can also browse over the internet and see ones that are as good as Teflon pans but at a cheap price. They also come in metal as well as stainless steel. They have almost all of the designs that you do not need to worry when matching them in your kitchen.

Last important and very useful fact about these wonderful pans is that you will get low fat when cooking using them. Since they are nonstick, you only need to put small amount of cooking oil or butter. They are a perfect means to let you get and stay healthy. All in all, buying at least one will be a great investment and can actually save you money. - 33383
